I know this is a rhetorical question, but can somebody please answer that question?
Think about these points:
1) People are calling evil good, and good evil.
2) More people are turning away from God than ever. Lot's of angry atheists out there...
3) Humanism is on the rise.
4) History has been re-written to exclude any references to God-even if it happened!
5) Occultism is on the rise. Just watch TV, or go to the movies (Twilight). This is accepted as the norm.
6) Terrorism is on the rise.
7) Wars and rumors of wars are on the rise.
8) We are being taxed to death by our own government. Aren't they supposed to protect us against this?
9) Our leaders only want to push their own agenda forward-no matter what the cost to us.
10) Drug use is on the rise.
11) Drinking is on the rise.
12) Pornography is more prevalent than ever. Just watch a sports event and stay for the commercials!
13) Gas & heating oil is on the rise.
14) Food prices are on the rise.
15) Suicide and depression are on the rise. Just watch TV commercials between Christmas & New Years...
I am writing this post, because something earlier today set me off. I saw a news update about some New York City agency that printer a "Guide to Heroin Use". The title of the article was: "New York City-Funded Guide Teaches How to Shoot Heroin Safely". I am not going to include the link-just Google it if you want to read it. Is anyone else out there absolutely STUNNED that this happened?
OK-Now that I depressed everyone, think about this-We have a PROMISE! A promise of an afterlife, a new life!
Well-thank God that Jesus is in control! Let me share something with all you brothers & sisters out there-We're all just sojourners. We're just passing through. Jesus has already prepared a place for us (John 14:1-4). It's ready for that moment when Jesus calls us home. We will close our eyes on this earth, and open them in the presence of our Lord & Savior. He has a mansion ready for us! He has an "all you can eat" buffet ready for us, and He will be dining with us! We will be praising and worshipping Jesus for all eternity!
Is anyone else excited? I know I am!! Praise His Holy Name! Hallelujah!
So-while you are out there in the world seeing all of these things going on-remember the precious promised of The Lord!
SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE ME AN AMEN!!!
John 14:6
...“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Are you in the place you want to be?
Don't answer that until you know what I really mean.
My walk with Jesus has been good, but it can always be better.
I constantly need to remind myself:"What would Jesus Do?". In adition to that, I need to keep asking myself: "What would Jesus Say?", What Would Jesus Watch?", "What Would Jesus Listen To?", and "What Would Jesus Talk About?"
Being out there in the world, it's VERY easy to get sucked into it. The Bible teaches us to "be IN the world, but NOT OF it". Those of you who work out there in the trenches must know what I'm talking about.
So-how do we fight against the enemy? God's Word clearly states that "to be friends with the world is to be at odds with God" (Paraphrased by me). We need to turn our eyes towards Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith! Read your Bible! Pray!
Remember-The Battle is not ours, but Gods!

A New Year, A New Beginning
Can somebody PLEEAASSEEE tell me why we need to wait until New Years Day to make a resolution? Shouldn't we constantly be striving to better ourselves, to draw closer to Christ on a DAILY, if not minute-by-minute basis?
Instead of seeing how much you can drink, or paryt on New Years Eve, here's a thought: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you....
AMEN?

What is a "Jesus Freak Life"?
I have been compelled for some time to share some of the aspects of my daily life online. This will specifically pertain to my daily walk with The Lord Jesus, my trials, His victories, and the love of God in my life.
A "Jesus Freak Life" is one where Jesus is the center of life. Jesus is the reason that you exist. Jesus is your Provider. Jesus is your Healer. Jesus is your Peace, your Banner, and your Strong Tower! You live to glorify Christ, and NOT yourself. You place others before you; you are selfless, and not selfish. You share The Gospel of Jesus Christ with anyone who will listen. You pray for your family, friends, and co-workers.
A "Jesus Freak Life" is also one where you stumble. You forget to pray, you lose your temper, words come out from your lips that you regret later. You forget to read your Bible, you get sucked into the things of this world, and you take 2 steps back instead of forward. It's about also being HUMAN, and having the grace to admit that we can only strive to be like Jesus. Until you get to heaven, you won't reach that point. It's also about forgiveness, which flows BOTH WAYS! That forgiveness never runs out, because it's backed by the forgiveness that Jesus extended to us when He died on the cross for our sins!
I hope that anyone who comes across this blog will be encouraged, or at the least-feel compelled to pray for me.
Jesus Loves You!
